According to the introduction from the program on the evening of March 24, Nguyen Truong Giang currently lives and works in Hanoi, is a person who loves knowledge gameshows, especially Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. He said he has followed the program for many years and has carefully researched the record milestones of previous players before participating.
Throughout the competition, Truong Giang showed stable performance, continuously making logical arguments to eliminate answers. Notably, from question number 11 onwards, players have used up all assists and completely rely on knowledge and personal reasoning to conquer the next questions.
Overcoming consecutive questions in the "no help" stage is considered a major challenge of the program, requiring players not only to have a broad knowledge base but also to maintain composure and analytical ability.

Question No. 15 - the last question of the program with the content: "The saying'By the day of victory, our people will rebuild our country more decently, bigger and more beautifully' is mentioned in which document of President Ho Chi Minh?", Truong Giang decided to stop the game to preserve the prize of 150 million VND.
When MC Quoc Khanh invited him to try answering, the player gave an answer but it was not accurate. The decision to stop at the right time helped him maintain a high prize money, instead of taking risks and possibly losing most of the achieved results.

On her personal page, BTV- MC Diep Chi, a member of the crew, also shared a special moment when the contestant almost "swallowed" the program. She said that it has been 5 years since the last time a contestant reached question number 15.
The atmosphere at the studio and control room at that time was very tense. "The whole crew almost hugged their hearts to watch. Even MC Quoc Khanh could not hide his nervousness," Diep Chi shared.
The female MC said that in the last question, when Truong Giang reasoned in the right direction and eliminated the two wrong options, the crew had high hopes that this could be the first contestant in Vietnam to conquer all 15 questions of the program.
Unfortunately, that has not happened yet, but we believe it will happen soon," she expressed.
Sharing after the program, Truong Giang said that this is a milestone that he has wanted to achieve for a long time. "In life, there may be many opportunities to earn similar amounts of money, but achieving in a program associated with his childhood is probably only once," he said.
Rare achievement in more than 20 years of broadcasting
Before Nguyen Truong Giang, the program "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" recorded two players overcoming 14 questions.
In 2008, construction engineer Le Anh was the first person to reach this milestone and received a prize of 80 million VND. He participated in the program after registering via email and post, with the desire to realize his wife's dream of seeing her husband sitting in the "hot seat".
By 2021, Tran Dang Dang Khoa was the second person to reach the 15th question, but answered incorrectly and had to return to the 22 million VND mark.
Recently, in 2024, Mr. Pham Cao Long (63 years old), former math teacher, also attracted attention when he experienced question number 15 in a hypothetical situation, after stopping the game at the 80 million VND mark because he had used up his assisting rights.
Nguyen Truong Giang's conquest of 14 questions and stopping at the milestone of 150 million VND - a rare high bonus for the program - continues to add a mark to the more than two-decade broadcast journey of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, and at the same time ignites expectations that there will soon be the first player to conquer all 15 questions.
