People's Artist Minh Hoa was born in 1964, her full name is Tran Thi Minh Hoa. She began to be known in the 1990s, considered the "queen of calendar photos" of the North. I still remember that day broadcasting the episode'Thuong ngay nang ve' revolving around the mother-child relationship between Mrs. Kim Nhung and the character Van Trang. After many years of having to be away from her child, thinking that her child had passed away, Mrs. Kim Nhung realized that the girl she had suppressed for so long in her work turned out to be her own child. I watched the movie and put my phone away to sleep. Until the next morning I woke up, I was completely surprised to receive hundreds of messages from friends, colleagues, and audiences. People also sent me posts from audiences expressing their emotion when watching the scene I acted... I couldn't imagine that I would become famous overnight in such a way" - People's Artist Minh Hoa said.
People's Artist Minh Hoa added that she has a predestined relationship with director Bui Tien Huy when participating in 2 films directed by Bui Tien Huy, "Love and Ambition", "Love on a Sunny Day". People's Artist Minh Hoa's two roles in Bui Tien Huy's film both caused a screen storm with divine acting scenes.
When 'Thuong Ngay Nang Ve' aired, I received a lot of love from the audience. I went to register for a car, some audience members recognized me and even held my hand and said, "Oh, Mrs. Kim Nhung. For many years, People's Artist Minh Hoa, along with veteran artists such as People's Artist Lan Huong, People's Artist Trung Anh, People's Artist Bui Bai Binh... have created a specialized color for roles that require high technique and deep acting on prime time.
People's Artist Minh Hoa used to hold the position of Deputy Director of the Hanoi Drama Theater from 2012 to 2019. She was awarded the title of Meritorious Artist in 2001, and received the title of People's Artist in 2011. In 2019, she retired under the regime.
When asked about the retirement period and pension regime, People's Artist Minh Hoa was somewhat hesitant. Currently, People's Artist Minh Hoa is still teaching at Hanoi University of Theater and Cinema. In recent years, People's Artist Minh Hoa has been acting in fewer films due to health conditions. Most recently, she played a guest role in the TV series "Than Hien" of the People's Police Cinema.
