Although he had the conditions to pursue art, the young singer decided to retire and spend time studying. In 2018, he released the song "I'm used to loneliness" and changed his stage name to Quang Anh Rhyder.

In 2023, he went through a difficult period because of many controversies during the Vietnamese Rap competition. There is an opinion that Rhyder sings more than raps, does not perform hip hop/rap but is favored.
Coming out of Rap Viet, the male singer released "Being the Way You Say You Lose", quickly reaching the top 1 Trending on YouTube, surpassing even strong names in digital music like My Tam and Wren Evans.
