It is known that the movie was inspired by director Huynh Tuan Anh and adapted into a movie from the famous French comedy La Cage aux Folles 46 years ago. Comedies have been adapted into films in 142 countries.

There are literary works that have been around for hundreds of years, such as Truyen Kieu by Nguyen Du, that still retain their value to this day, unchanged.
The director affirmed that he will breathe a new and different wind into this film. With a living capital and research bag on psychology, social mobilization, culture, customs and a clear grasp of modern trends, the version of The butterfly House of Vietnam will have a clear difference, imbued with the breath of the contemporary period, Huynh Tuan Anh said.
The film The butterfly House has a gathering of actors: Lien Binh Phat, Hoang Yen Chibi, Thanh Loc, Quang Minh, Hong Dao. In contrast to the "old" actors in the film, Lien Binh Phat is a relatively new name in the acting industry. He has acted in 3 films and is recently more known through the game show Run and wait. However, when he noticed the qualities in "little Binh's" acting such as: convincing cinema face and body language, Huynh Tuan Anh decided to choose Lien Binh Phat as Hoang.
