Park Ji Ah debuted in the 2002 film "Coastline". She made her mark with her edgy, villainous roles. She has starred in films such as "The Coast Guard"; "Spring", "Breat", "Gidam" or "Gonjiam"...
In 2023, Park Ji Ah made an impression when playing Jeong Mi Hee, mother of Moon Dong Eun (played by Song Hye Kyo), in the hit series "The Glory".
With her orange curly hair and skinny appearance, Park Ji Ah successfully transformed into an alcoholic woman filled with hatred and resentment.
The scene where Mi Hee burned down her daughter's room and crazily destroyed Moon Dong Eun's life scared and haunted the audience.
In part 2 of the film, Dong Eun's pent-up emotions and frustrations truly "explode" through the catalyst of her biological mother - who is also the first enemy in her life.
On Fn News, the artist said she is happy to be immersed in the characters, having more roles with diverse personalities and colors.
“The Glory” received a “shower” of compliments and became one of the most popular TV series on Netflix in early 2023.
Both parts of "The Glory" were successful. The film reached the top 1 on Netflix globally and became the 4th Korean film to achieve this achievement.
On Rotten Tomatoes, the film has a 100% "fresh" rating in the critics' score bracket. This is an achievement that few Korean films, especially long-running films, can achieve on this site.
