In a conversation with Lao Dong reporters, artist Tu Oanh shared that she is currently filming 2 new film projects. After retiring, she is more busy, with a tight schedule of film and television projects.

When I started to intend to retire, I used to think that my working time was over, my working capacity was starting to decline, and I would spend all my time with my family and friends. But then a very lucky opportunity came that TV series contacted me again. Now, I have to admit that this time of mine is even more vibrant than so many years of theater.
More than 30 years in the profession, I am used to "hiding in the dark", quietly working and not everyone on stage meets me in real life. But when acting in long-running TV series, with a long broadcast time, the audience sees me more often, more connected" - actress Tu Oanh said.
The actress recounted that many times when she went out, the audience passed by or sat behind the car, hearing Tu Oanh's voice - many people recognized it immediately, some audiences exclaimed: "Oh, this woman!". Or some people looked at Tu Oanh for a long time and asked: "Do you look familiar? Where did I meet you? Did you sell goods at the market?".
According to artist Tu Oanh, for her, it is a great joy, she is happy that her character has stepped into life from the screen.
In addition to roles in prime-time TV series, artist Tu Oanh also participated in a series of movies. In which, the main role in the movie "Rain on the Butterfly's Wings" brought Tu Oanh to participate in many red carpets of international film festivals.
Looking back at her career, after going through the ups and downs of the stage, until entering television and cinema, artist Tu Oanh said - each stage is a memory, an imprint she cannot forget. She cherishes the affection of the audience, and it is the affection of the audience that has helped her always keep the fire with the profession.
Recalling a memorable memory, Tu Oanh recounted: "I was originally a sensitive person. The most memorable memory is the first two weeks when "Huong Vi Tinh Than" aired. At that time, I didn't even dare to review my own image, suddenly one day I read negative comments criticizing characters on social networks. I was severely shocked. That day I sobbed and had a fever all night, lying down and wondering: "Why do people say these words? Why do you think like this?".
The next morning, when I arrived at the film crew with a haggard face, I said to Quynh (actress Thu Quynh): "You don't read anymore, otherwise you won't be able to continue filming and acting anymore". Quynh also understood my personality and immediately intervened: "No, Oanh, you can't read anything!".
The memory of the "shock" has helped artist Tu Oanh train a stronger spirit. According to the artist, everything needs to be trained.
Later I realized that because the audience loved and hated too clearly, was too drawn into the film, they reacted negatively like that. At the final stage of the film, when the character "turned the car around" emotionally and received sympathy and grace in the eyes of the audience, I understood that all my efforts had been rewarded deservedly" - Tu Oanh said.
