The film tells the story of the 1990s, when the district of Lang Khuc in the Thanh Hai plateau was completely dependent on agricultural livestock farming, falling into poverty. Da Kiet (Ho Ca) is a deputy district of Greek Khuc district, supported by the district chief Lam Boi Sinh, and has established a mountain patrol team. Bach Cuc's artistic shooting skills have developed rapidly after coming to the deserted land, becoming a journeyman for members of the mountain patrol team, and also developed feelings for the newspaper's reporter, Thieu Van Phi (Truong Triet Hoa).
