On April 8, Money Today quoted a newly released audit report by Galaxy Corporation, stating that G-Dragon's income managed by the company was estimated at over 65 billion won (about 1,150 billion VND) last year. If plus royalties, the male artist's actual income in the year could be even higher.
According to reports, the total commission payment expenses of Galaxy Corporation last year reached 71.4 billion won. After deducting legal and PR expenses, most of this money is G-Dragon's payment income. Before signing a contract with G-Dragon, Galaxy Corporation's "payment expenses" were only about 800 million - 2.5 billion won/year.
In 2025, thanks to positive activities such as organizing tours, participating in programs, advertising... G-Dragon helped the company generate nearly 300 billion won in revenue.
Notably, in the first half of 2025, Galaxy Corporation was almost G-Dragon's "one-person company". Although they later signed contracts with Kim Jong Kook and Song Kang Ho, revenue from them was insignificant.
According to industry sources, the revenue gap between G-Dragon and other artists can be more than 100 times larger.
Last year, G-Dragon released his 3rd solo album "Übermensch" and organized a global tour in 17 cities with 39 performances, attracting about 825,000 spectators.
This success helped Galaxy Corporation's revenue increase sharply to 298.9 billion won (up 618%), the artist management segment alone reached 269.5 billion won (up 859%), and the company turned to profit with 12.5 billion won of operating profit.
Thanks to the G-Dragon effect, the company was also valued at 1,000 billion won after the Pre-IPO investment round, becoming a "unicorn" company. Previously, the company's value was only under 500 billion won.
Currently Galaxy Corporation is considering listing in the US. Last March, leaders from Nasdaq and the New York Stock Exchange visited the company's headquarters.
However, experts believe that this may take time because revenue depends too heavily on G-Dragon, while the "entertain-tech" segment (combining AI and robots) that the company is aiming for has not yet had clear results.
Recently, the company continued to expand by recruiting more artists such as Taemin, and also established branches in the US and Hong Kong (China) to boost the international market.
Meanwhile, in the near future, G-Dragon is expected to perform at the Coachella music festival taking place on April 12 and April 19 in the US, and continue to operate with Big Bang.
G-Dragon also revealed that he will reappear in the music race with Big Bang on the occasion of their 20th anniversary of operation (2006 - 2026).
