According to the latest list announced by the organizers of the Lollapalooza Chicago 2026 music festival, Jennie (Blackpink) will perform as the main artist (headliner) at the event taking place from July 30 to August 2 in Grant Park (Chicago, USA), along with world-famous artists such as Charli XCX, Lorde and The Smashing Pumpkins.
Jennie's progress this time is considered the peak in her journey to "conquer global festivals" this year. Jennie will mark as the first female Kpop solo artist to hold the role of main artist of Lollapalooza.
Previously, the female singer confirmed that she was the main performer at the Governors Ball Music Festival (New York, USA) in June and the Mad Cool Festival 2026 (Spain) in July.

On stage, Jennie always shows a very unique color: she not only does well in terms of music but also connects stage setting, performance and fashion into a seamless whole.
Based on her impressive performance at last year's Coachella music festival, Jennie is gradually consolidating her position as the "global festival queen" of Kpop.
Born in 1991, Lollapalooza is a large-scale music festival, lasting 4 days with about 170 participating artists and attracting more than 400,000 audiences each year.
This year, in addition to Jennie's lead, Lollapalooza also has 4 Kpop groups participating for the first time, attracting a lot of attention. These names include aespa, i-dle and CORTIS.
aespa had previously demonstrated their strength on major stages such as Coachella, Summer Sonic and Mawazine Festival. The SM Entertainment girl group is currently expanding its influence through its Asian tour.

Notably, rookie CORTIS participated in Lollapalooza just 1 year after debuting. As the only Kpop boy group participating in this year's festival, CORTIS is showing strong growth momentum when it achieved "million-copy" revenue with its debut album and contributed to selling "full tickets" for the NBA music show.
CORTIS is initially affirming its position in the global market. This stage may become a turning point to help the group expand its international fandom.
According to Korean media, the prominent presence of Kpop artists/groups at Lollapalooza 2026 - a music festival that was once a playground leaning towards pop and rock - shows that Kpop is increasingly clearly positioned in the global music ecosystem.
