According to a quick report on March 18 by the Department of Industry and Trade of Vinh Long province, the market management force inspected and discovered a gas station in the area that voluntarily stopped operating without being approved by a competent authority. This act not only violates legal regulations but also directly affects supply and market order.
Specifically, Ly Gia Dien Co., Ltd. (Pham Hung street, Long Chau ward) arbitrarily stopped selling gasoline and oil without a written approval. After inspection, functional agencies made a record and handled it according to regulations.
As a result, the enterprise was administratively fined 15 million VND for the act of stopping illegal sales. This is a serious violation in gasoline and oil business activities, affecting the rights of consumers and the stability of the market.
Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan - Director of Vinh Long Department of Industry and Trade - said that the handling aims to deter and rectify discipline, not to let the situation of arbitrary closure causing supply disruption reoccur.
In the context that the gasoline and oil market needs to be ensured to be stable, the Department of Industry and Trade emphasized: all acts such as hoarding goods, stopping sales without permission or doing business in violation of regulations will be strictly handled. Businesses need to fully comply with legal regulations to ensure smooth operation.
In the coming time, the Department will continue to strengthen inspection and supervision of the gasoline and oil distribution system; resolutely handle violations, contributing to market stability and protecting consumer rights.
