HYBE Corporation (Korean entertainment company) confirmed to hold an online and offline concert at 9:00 p.m. on December 31 at Kintex Hall 4 called "2022 Weverse Con".
This is an event following the "2021 New Year's Eve Live" concert last year. It seems that HYBE is determined to turn the "big family" performance into an annual traditional program.
According to HYBE's announcement, this year's line-up includes artists from label-led labelboards and guest artists: Bumzu, Dvwn, Enhypen, fromis_9, Justin Bieber, Lee Hyun, SEVENTEEN and TXT.
Most notably on the list is the presence of Justin Bieber. The famous male singer, although not attending the concert location directly, will bring a great performance through online form.
The above information has become a topic of interest to many people, especially for Korean netizens. Justin Bieber's name appeared in the line-up after a series of impressive achievements on the Korean digital music chart with the song "Peaches" which surprised Korean fans.
However, BTS's inability to attend the show has disappointed many fans and the public. HYBE said that BTS is on a long holiday after a period of unstoppable activities. The group will return in 2022 with new albums and concerts.
Although it attracted quite a lot of attention, "2022 Weverse Con" also received many criticisms because it did not have the participation of NU'EST - Pledis' music group. This has fans wondering whether NU'EST is involved with another schedule or is on a long vacation so he cannot attend the concert.
Although there is still much controversy, it cannot be denied that the concert "2022 Weverse Con" is a highly anticipated event at the end of the year for Kpop fans.
