At around 5:40 a.m. on July 11, the Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Police Department (PCCC&CNCH) received a report from Z1 about an accident at power pole No. 170, Hoang Sa Street (under the top of Bai Bac Pass), Da Nang City.
The authorities dispatched a rescue vehicle and 8 officers and soldiers to the scene. Upon arrival, the unit coordinated with the 115 medical team to determine that the victim had died. Through observation, the motorbike fell into the drainage hole, the victim's body was lying on a sidewalk barrier.
The victim was identified as Mallard Malik Davon (born in 1997, US nationality), temporarily residing in room 301, Vinh Hanh apartment, lot 05/24 To Hien Thanh, An Hai ward, Da Nang city. The vehicle, with license plate 43H1-351.76, was driven by the victim and caused an accident on its own.
The scene of the incident has been handed over to Son Tra Ward Police, the Procuracy, the Criminal Police Department (PC02), the Criminal Techniques Department (PC09) and the Department of Investigation Police on Social Order Crimes (PC01) for further investigation and examination. The Fire Prevention and Rescue Unit supported the salvage of the motorbike at the request of the investigation agency. The cause of the accident is being clarified.
