As soon as the final episode aired on the evening of September 28, the film "The reward of tycoons" became a hot topic on forums.
In the final episode, the army's Jesan (the king's uncle) created a revolt and brought down the throne of Prince Jinmyeong. King Lee Heon (Lee Chae Min) was accused of killing the queen and became a "boss" as recorded in history.
When confronted with Jesan, referee Ji Young (YoonA) saved Lee Heon's sword and seriously injured him. Fortunately, Lee Heon had completed the Voice of the Road before, at the right time, allowing Ji Young to return to the future.
Ji Young wakes up in the hospital, she immediately looks up information about the violent Lee Heon and discovers that history has changed. The information that Lee Heon died while being exiled has been changed to Lee Heon has disappeared, and his body has not been found.
Ji Young thought that the king was still alive, so he opened the Book of the Year to try to find a way to return to the past once again but could not.
A month later, Ji Young became the head chef of a restaurant specializing in royal cuisine. Here, she unexpectedly meets again with chefs whose names and appearances are identical to the royal court chariots that followed her during the Joseon Dynasty.
Ji Young is determined to help the restaurant achieve a Michelin star by creating a new menu called The Great deal of Confucius, inspired by the dishes she once cooked for Lee Heon and recorded by him in the book The Voice.
One day, Lee Heon suddenly appeared at a restaurant with a modern look and met Ji Young again, making her burst into emotion.

At the end of the film, Lee Heon personally goes into the kitchen to make mixed rice for Ji Young, the two enjoy the happiness of being together.
In her final lines, Ji Young said that she did not care how Lee Heon was from the 16th century to modern times, the important thing was that the two had met each other again.
The ending of the film "The author of the bully" caused the audience to divide their opinions. In which, many people ask questions such as: Why can Lee Heon pass through time to modern times? Where did Lee Heon get his modern identity and how did he get into a new suit and hairstyle?
Other comments are still questioning the developments in the Joseon Dynasty, when Lee Heon's army took over the palace, but the film does not reveal the story afterwards.
Because the final episode has not yet solved the main problems, many fans have described it as a "silly ending", labeling the film a "B-class film".
However, besides the questioning and criticism of the film through speakers, most of the audience was satisfied when the two main characters returned together and lived happily.
On theqoo, Korean audiences commented: "The ending of the film is unreasonable but I am still very happy", "It seems that my taste is only at the level of a B-class film, but I am still very satisfied", "Just two of them are happy".
I like this ending because Lee Heon is not reborn (losing memories) but he is himself in modern times.
At the very least, this ending is still better than all is just a dream.
Another comment pointed out that the film could have written a better ending and solved more problems in the final episode, if the screenwriter had cut the long duration of the episodes about the messenger Dai Minh.
In general, most audiences are satisfied because this is a rare happy ending in films that revolve around the content that goes from modern to ancient.
