The controversy related to the personal life of actor Lee Yi Kyung has entered a new phase, when A - a German woman who has made accusations against him - announced that she is preparing to file a counterclaim.
On January 4, A posted another statement on her social media account, she said: "Previously, I mentioned that I sent an email to the actor's management company in May, along with a screenshot of his vulgar words and images. Today, I publish recordings showing that the actor tried to contact me via VoiceTalk.
According to A, the published evidence includes a chat log in which she explained the reason for not being able to answer the phone, along with a screenshot of the incoming call that she shared with an acquaintance.
A also further accused that, during a conflict between the two sides, Lee Yi Kyung said to her: "Since you send an email to our company, your identity will be disclosed. Do you accept that? This is an illegal act that could be investigated if you hire a lawyer.
A said she understood those statements as a threat: "His words were spoken with a threatening attitude, implicitly implying that my personal information would be exposed, while he avoided responsibility for the previous sexual harassment.
She also said that the star of the movie "Suddenly winning the lottery" directly contacted her after she sent an email to his management company, although she had never told him that she had done so, which confirmed his identity.
According to A's account, Lee Yi Kyung also added: "Maybe now I will have to meet reporters because of you. I have seen you as a close younger sister and shared daily life with you for a long time, why did you do that?".
Regarding having withdrawn her initial statements, A said that at that time she had been under great psychological pressure.
Regarding the incomplete text messages, she explained: "I cannot submit the entire conversation because I have changed my phone, and the chat messages are no longer on the current device." However, she emphasized that the screenshots were not fake at all, and are currently preparing legal steps under the guidance of her country's embassy.

The incident began in October 2024, when A first announced that she had had sexual conversations with Lee Yi Kyung. Since then, A has repeatedly posted and deleted the accusations, even apologized and said that the initial revelations were made by AI. But now, she has decided to expose everything.
