People's Artist Trung Anh will play a Lao official in the movie "Mật mã Đông Dương" of the People's Police Cinema. The movie is expected to be released in theaters on the holiday of April 30, 2027, along with a series of historical film projects being invested in.
In a conversation with Lao Dong reporters, People's Artist Trung Anh revealed, "Currently, I am approaching 3 new projects, including 1 TV series and 2 movies. However, all are only at the level of understanding scripts and exchanging ideas. Usually, projects will start filming from about July to the end of the year, but currently everything is still on paper.
Among the upcoming film projects, there is a film of the People's Police Cinema that I have received a script for, "Indus Indian Code". This is a very carefully invested project. The crew even organized for actors to participate in martial arts classes, learn to shoot guns and drive manual transmission cars.
According to NSND Trung Anh, the biggest challenge for him is... learning Lao. According to the script, NSND Trung Anh will have to speak Lao from beginning to end of the film.

Indochinese Code" is set in 1960. The story revolves around the character Tran Thang - a Vietnamese police officer operating deep within the enemy's security apparatus in Laos.
