Currently, Meritorious Artist Viet Hoan lives in a 10,000m2 garden house in Thach That (Hanoi). He finds joy in farming and gardening.
Singer Viet Hoan's garden house is his own idea. He enjoys a peaceful life, taking care of plants and raising chickens every day.
Sharing with Lao Dong reporter, Meritorious Artist Viet Hoan said he likes a free life in an open space: "I want a good living environment, from water, air and little noise. Even though I am a singer, when I come home, I like a fresh space with little noise.
I don't like air conditioning so I want to live in the suburbs. Besides, I have a habit of growing plants. My passion for plants and flowers is inherited from my father."
Before moving to the 10,000m2 garden house on the hill, Viet Hoan used to live in Quoc Oai, with a farm on the hill covering an area of more than ten thousand m2.
Viet Hoan once said that he loves nature and the countryside so much that he chose to live in the suburbs for many years. In addition to singing, he takes care of and grows plants on the farm.
After the marriage broke down in 2023, singer Viet Hoan's wife, singer Hoa Tran, still stayed in the old house with her 3 daughters.
Meanwhile, Viet Hoan moved to a 10,000m2 garden house, enjoying life close to nature. His children still often come over to help their father take care of the garden.

Viet Hoan was born in 1966 in Thai Binh, in a family with parents who are cai luong artists.
At the age of 18, Viet Hoan won first prize in the solo singing contest of Thai Binh province. He worked at the Hai Phong City Police Art Troupe, Hai Phong Song and Dance Troupe, Vietnam Light Music and Dance Theater, Voice of Vietnam Radio...
He is famous for his red music, especially through his collaboration with Trong Tan and Dang Duong to form the "red music trio".
The trio has been together for more than 20 years. In 2006, Viet Hoan was awarded the title of Meritorious Artist.
