On the occasion of the New Year, RHYDER returned to his family after a busy year with schedules and activities.
In a conversation with Lao Dong reporter, RHYDER revealed that compared to traveling far away, he prefers to return home to his family.
"During Tet, I often go home to eat with my family. That's the time when I get to spend the most time with my family and meet relatives. During the year, family members will work in many places, so Tet will be an occasion for the whole family to gather and have a meal together," RHYDER shared.
RHYDER's favorite Tet food is fried banh chung and dishes cooked by his mother or family members.
The young singer confided: "I perform in many places all year round and get to eat many dishes, so I like family meals. On the morning of the first day of the new year, I like the bustling atmosphere. I always wish my family, friends, and loved ones good health, happiness, success in work, and good luck in the new year."
2024 is also a meaningful year for Miss Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy. In a conversation with Lao Dong, Thanh Thuy said she likes to return to Da Nang to reunite with her family during Tet, because traveling is something that can be done all year round, not necessarily during Tet.
Miss Thanh Thuy often cooks banh chung and banh tet, goes back to her hometown to visit her grandparents, and visits relatives on New Year's Day. The beauty also enjoys the traditional Tet holiday, returning to her hometown and being with her family.
Coincidentally, Thanh Thuy was crowned Miss Vietnam and Miss International twice before Tet. Therefore, she was able to celebrate Tet twice with joy and happiness, and had the achievement of winning the crown of a major beauty contest.
During Tet, actress Bao Han always spends time with her family. Although Bao Han was born in 2000, belonging to generation Z, Bao Han still likes to celebrate the traditional Tet with ancient habits.
The actor said: "On New Year's Eve, I won't go anywhere. I'll just stay home and watch the fireworks with my grandparents and parents. Then, everyone in the family will sit together, give lucky money, and eat on New Year's Eve."
According to Bao Han, the family always maintains the custom of New Year's Eve. People can open beer cans, chat, and wish each other good things in the new year.
On the first day, Bao Han went to her paternal family to wish them a happy new year, and on the second day, to her maternal family. On the third day, she made an appointment to meet her friends. Even though she lives with her family, being with her loved ones during special moments always brings strong emotions to Bao Han.
Anh Tu Atus and Dieu Nhi also keep the habit of gathering with their family during Tet. They travel between Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi to reunite with both families and celebrate Tet together according to tradition.
During the days before Tet, Dieu Nhi and her husband Anh Tu cleaned the house together and visited relatives to celebrate Tet. Anh Tu said that he always likes to stay at home and enjoy the true Tet atmosphere with his family. Therefore, Anh Tu and Dieu Nhi do not travel but spend all their time with their relatives.
