A20 Entertainment confirmed: " Sunny has recently signed a contract with A20 Entertainment. She is currently trained as a producer under the direction of Yoo Young Jin.
She is in charge of many tasks at A20, such as designing training regimes at A20 and monitoring the mental health of interns.
As she showed in her recent behind-the-scenes appearance, she participated as a director in many other aspects of the idol group production process, including video content production, makeup and choreography.
Previously, on April 7, A2O Entertainment's official YouTube channel posted a video "A2O Summer Training Camp Highlights". In it, Sunny appeared as a recording director for interns at a studio in the US.
A2O Entertainment is a new entertainment company founded by Lee Soo Man - former General Director of SM Entertainment (the management company of SNSD group).
When there was a dispute over ownership of SM Entertainment between SM, Kakao Entertainment and HYBE, Lee Soo Man transferred his SM stake to HYBE with a 3-year "no competition and attraction" agreement, so he is currently only involved in production abroad.
Sunny was born in 1989, the niece of Lee Soo Man. She debuted as a member of the girl group SNSD (Girls' Generation) in 2007.
