Their stock assets come from HYBE Group - BTS's holding company. Before HYBE went public on the stock exchange (IPO) in 2020, Chairman Bang Si Hyuk divided 478,695 common shares equally among 7 BTS members.
It is known that V, Jimin and Jungkook have kept all of these stocks unchanged until now without selling, helping their asset value grow steadily following the increase of HYBE shares.
In the overall ranking, Samsung Electronics Chairman Lee Jae Yong is No. 1 with a holding stock value of up to VND23,359 trillion. While HYBE President Bang Si Hyuk ranked 10th with 4,123 trillion won in stock assets.
The fact that V, Jimin and Jungkook are on the list of Koreans under 30 with the highest stock asset value once again affirms BTS's special position, not only as a global cultural icon but also as young people with financial success in Korea.
