On June 21, the Office of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee informed that Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thien Van has just signed a document to the People's Committee of Buon Ma Thuot City regarding the conversion of Nguyen Binh Khiem Private Primary School to a private school.
In particular, the leader of the Provincial People's Committee said that the problems of Buon Ma Thuot city have been fully resolved by departments and branches. The answers are clearly stated in the document and announced at the meetings.
The Provincial People's Committee has also requested the People's Committee of Buon Ma Thuot city to coordinate with departments and branches to remove obstacles in documents and procedures. At the same time, the province has repeatedly reminded the city to speed up the conversion in accordance with regulations.
Previously, in Document No. 2667/UBND-VP dated May 19, 2025, Buon Ma Thuot city no longer reported any further difficulties. The City People's Committee has proposed the Provincial People's Committee to allow the extension of the time to implement the conversion of school types until May 30, 2025.
However, up to now, the People's Committee of Buon Ma Thuot city continues to send documents reporting on the arising difficulties, requesting further instructions from the Provincial People's Committee.
Faced with the above situation, the Provincial People's Committee requested the People's Committee of Buon Ma Thuot city to seriously coordinate with departments and branches to completely resolve the remaining problems. The city must complete the conversion before June 30, 2025.
The Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee severely criticized the delay of the Buon Ma Thuot City People's Committee. The province requested clarification of the responsibilities of relevant individuals for this situation to occur.
If the conversion is not completed after the above deadline, the People's Committee of Buon Ma Thuot city and related individuals will be responsible to the Provincial People's Committee according to the provisions of law.
