The Ministry of Public Security has decided to assign Colonel Vu Thanh Thuc - Deputy Director in charge of Can Tho City Police until a new director is appointed.
Regarding the above content, Can Tho City Police have issued a document notifying the decision of the Ministry of Public Security to the heads of affiliated units and the police of communes, wards and towns.
According to the decision of the Minister of Public Security, Major General Nguyen Van Thuan - Director of Can Tho City Police, retired from retirement from June 1. At the same time, the decision was made to assign Colonel Vu Thanh Thuc to be in charge of Can Tho City Police.
Colonel Vu Thanh Thuc (57 years old, from Kinh Mon district, Hai Duong province), who used to hold the position of Head of the Border Guard and Training targets Department - Department of Organization and Personnel (Ministry of Public Security), was appointed Deputy Director of Can Tho City Police from 2020.
Currently, in addition to Colonel Vu Thanh Thuc, Can Tho City Police has 4 other Deputy Directors including: Colonel Le Duc Bay, Colonel Tran Hoang Do, Colonel Ha Bao Huy (public secondment, holding the position of Deputy Director of the Can Tho City Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee) and Lieutenant Colonel Dinh Tung An.
