On July 14, in Da Nang City, Duy Tan University coordinated with STEAM for Vietnam to implement the program "AI for Impact 2026 - Launching the journey to popularize AI in the Central region". The program aims to train AI skills for 100,000 Vietnamese people, contributing to promoting digital transformation and developing high-quality human resources in the era of artificial intelligence.

The event was attended by representatives of Google.org, AVPN, STEAM for Vietnam, along with leaders of management agencies, universities, businesses, medical facilities, lecturers and students.
The program is part of the AI Opportunity Fund: Asia-Pacific initiative implemented by AVPN with the support of Google.org and the Asian Development Bank (ADB), aiming to expand access to AI knowledge and skills for the Asia-Pacific community.

According to the organizers, the training program is designed according to each specialized field. For the Education sector, the program focuses on improving teaching capacity, learning materials design and training management through the application of Generative Artificial Intelligence (Generative AI - GenAI).
In the field of healthcare, AI is introduced as a tool to help summarize medical records, support decision-making and personalize patient care information, contributing to improving professional efficiency.
For the field of Communications, students are equipped with skills to apply AI in content production, information verification, deepfaking content and responsible use of AI in journalism and communication activities.
The program is implemented completely free of charge on the EduOne online learning platform with flexible self-study forms. Each student has 04 weeks to complete the course from the time of account activation.
The organizers said that the registration period for participating in the program is from July 14 to July 21. The study and completion period of the course lasts until September 30.
