Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City has issued a notice recruiting outstanding young scientists and leading scientists to work at this system in 2026 under the VNU350 Program.
Accordingly, in 2026, member and affiliated units of VNU-HCM will recruit a total of 167 targets.
In which, Hanoi University of Science and Technology enrolls 36 targets, focusing on technical - technology fields such as electricity - electronics, semiconductor microchips, automation, information technology, data science, mechanical - electromechanical engineering, logistics and applied mathematics.
University of Science enrolls 35 targets in the fields of semiconductor technology, quantum technology, artificial intelligence, computer science, mathematics, biotechnology, renewable energy and environment.
University of Information Technology enrolls 13 targets in computer science, information systems, e-commerce, computer networks, microchip design and data science.
International University enrolls 17 targets in the fields of biomedical engineering, chemical engineering, construction, logistics - supply chain management, economics - finance and English.
The University of Health Sciences enrolls 20 targets in the fields of medicine, dentistry, traditional medicine, nursing and pharmacy.
The University of Social Sciences and Humanities enrolls 22 targets in the fields of language, education, psychology, journalism - communication, culture, tourism and education management.
The University of Economics and Law enrolls 5 targets in the fields of economics, business, management, law and information systems.
An Giang University enrolls 14 targets in the groups of technology, pedagogy, finance - banking and agriculture.
In addition, the Institute of Environment and Resources enrolls 5 targets in the fields of environmental biology, resource management and environmental engineering.
Candidates participating in the VNU350 Program need to have a doctorate degree, independent teaching and research ability, and also have a orientation to contribute to the development of VNU-HCM and higher education in Vietnam.
For young scientists, candidates need to meet at least one of the criteria such as: having a scientific article in a prestigious journal, having a patent, having a transferred science and technology product or having a new research direction suitable for the development strategy of VNU-HCM.
For leading scientists, candidates need to have experience in leading research groups or laboratories, chairing scientific topics, having international publications or patents, experience in guiding research students and a network of scientific cooperation at home and abroad.
