On May 19, in Buon Ma Thuot city, the Department of Education and Training of Dak Lak province held a ceremony to honor students and teachers with excellent achievements in national and regional competitions in the 2024 - 2025 school year.
According to Mr. Do Tuong Hiep - Deputy Director of the provincial Department of Education and Training, in the 2024 - 2025 school year, the Dak Lak education sector recorded many outstanding achievements.
Notably, at the national excellent student selection exam, students in the province won 72 prizes - the highest number ever. Of which, there are 2 first prizes (Information Technology), 13 second prizes, 18 third prizes and 39 consolation prizes.
Notably, Vo Thanh Hai was selected to join the team to participate in the Asia-Pacific Informatics Olympiad. At the National Science and Technology Competition, Dak Lak had 3 participating projects and excellently won 2 Second Prizes and 1 Promising Prize.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Truong Cong Thai - Vice Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee - praised the efforts and achievements of the team of teachers and students.
He suggested that the education sector continue to innovate, improve comprehensive quality, promote the application of technology and artificial intelligence in teaching and learning.
On this occasion, the functional unit awarded the Certificate of Merit from the Minister of Education and Training, the Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the Certificate of Merit of the Director of the Department of Education and Training and the Provincial Study Encouragement Association for 129 students and 59 typical managers and teachers in the 2024-2025 school year.
