However, the school applies a number of conditions that candidates must meet in each group of subjects, such as a total score of 3 graduation exam subjects of 24 or higher; achieving a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 and other equivalent certificates (if combined); 6 semesters of good academic performance and conduct of Fair or higher...
In 2025, Hanoi Law University plans to enroll about 2,650 students. The school plans to continue to consider admission based on the academic records of grades 10, 11, and 12 according to specific combinations for each major and consider converting international language certificates.
The University of Commerce has recently proposed admission methods, including admission based on the transcripts of candidates studying for 3 years in grades 10, 11, and 12 at specialized high schools nationwide/national key high schools, graduating in 2025 according to each subject group for admission.
Hanoi Pedagogical University 2 and Forestry University also plan to enroll students based on academic records.
In the Southern region, Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance will also consider academic records in 2025. Notably, this is the first school to announce the 2025 scholarship consideration, with an average academic score of 7 or higher.
Last year, the school recruited more than 6,600 students, but 70% were based on their academic records.
Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade plans to consider about 15-20% of the target by considering high school transcripts.
In 2025, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology plans to eliminate the method of considering transcripts for 3 semesters (grade 11 and semester 1 of grade 12) but still maintain the method of considering transcripts according to a combination of 3 subjects in grade 12.
Meanwhile, the University of Finance and Marketing plans to enroll students using six methods, including considering academic records. The school's enrollment quota remains stable as in previous years, with an average of nearly 4,400 students per year.

Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City also plans to have 3 main admission methods, including a comprehensive admission method based on the high school academic scores of 6 semesters according to subject groups. Previously, this school only considered the scores of 3 semesters.
Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry in 2025 is expected to also consider admission based on the results of the transcript, which is the average score of 3 years of high school. For admission to Preschool Education (college and university level), use the transcript score (average of 3 years of high school) of 2 subjects Math and Literature combined with the results of the aptitude test.
On the other hand, in 2025, a series of universities are expected to stop considering transcripts for admission. Leaders of some schools said that the reason for removing this method is because over the years, the school has realized that most of the excellent students in specialized schools (the group eligible for admission based on transcripts) are eligible for admission based on international certificates or private exam scores. Therefore, removing transcripts will reduce the virtual rate, because a candidate can use many methods.
