This morning (September 27), more than 1.16 million candidates nationwide continued to enter the second day of the high school graduation exam.
This is the first exam in which candidates will take part in the old 2006 and new (2018). For candidates taking the 2018 General Education Program, they will take 2 elective subjects out of the remaining 9 subjects studied in grade 12, including: Foreign Language, History, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Economic & Legal Education, Information Technology, Technology.
In the natural subject group, Physics has more than 354,200 registered candidates, Chemistry has 246,700 candidates, Biology has more than 72,600 students.
The reference questions for Chemistry will be updated by Lao Dong as soon as students finish their exam time.
The Chemistry exam will be conducted in multiple-choice format.
According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, the questions in the multiple-choice test are divided into 3 parts, in which part 1 includes questions in the multiple-choice test format, with 4 options choosing 1 correct answer. Each correct answer gives the contestant 0.25 points.
Part 2 includes questions in the true/false multiple-choice format. Each question has 4 ideas, in each opinion the candidate chooses true or false.
Candidates who choose only 1 idea accurately in 1 question will get 0.1 point; choose 2 ideas accurately in 1 question will get 0.25 points; choose 3 ideas accurately in 1 question will get 0.5 points; choose all 4 ideas accurately in 1 question will get 1 point.
Part 3 includes questions in short-term multiple-choice format. Candidates poured into the cells corresponding to their answers. For Math, each correct answer is 0.5 points, while for other subjects it is 0.25 points.
Previously, on June 26, the candidates completed the Literature and Math exam.
The Literature exam is evaluated by many teachers to ensure the quality and capacity development orientation of the 2018 General Education Program and achieve a high level of differentiation. The exam is also "breathful with life, relevant".
For Math, many students and teachers commented that the exam is highly differentiated, and the expected high school score is around 6.6 - 7 points.
The 2025 high school graduation exam took place on June 26-27 with more than 1.16 million candidates, an increase of nearly 100,000 compared to last year. This year's exam has students studying under two programs: GDPT 2018 and GDPT 2006. Each program has a different number of subjects and exam questions, of which nearly 1.14 million candidates take the new program, accounting for 97.71% of the total number of candidates registered to take the exam.
