Benchmark scores of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology in 2026

According to the method of considering the results of the 2026 high school graduation exam, the benchmark score of HUTECH ranges from 15-22 points depending on the major.

In which, Medicine has the highest benchmark score with 22 points. Pharmacy, Law and Economic Law majors also take 20 points. Nursing and Medical Laboratory Technology have the same benchmark score of 18. The remaining majors take 15 points.

With the method of considering high school academic results (gradebook), the medical standard score is 23 points; Pharmacy, Law and Economic Law are also 20 points; the remaining majors are 18 points.

According to the method of considering the results of the V-SAT exam in 2026, the medical standard score is 285 points; Pharmacy, Law and Economic Law are 270 points; Nursing and Medical Laboratory Technology are 250 points; the remaining majors are 225 points.

For the method of considering the results of the capacity assessment exam of Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City in 2026, Medicine has a benchmark score of 750 points; Pharmacy, Law and Economic Law are 720 points; Nursing and Medical Laboratory Technology are 650 points; the remaining majors are 600 points.

The school said that the benchmark scores of the methods are determined on the basis of equivalent conversion according to university admission regulations in 2026, in order to ensure equivalence in admission opportunities between methods.

1. Method of admission based on high school graduation exam results in 2026:

Admission score = Total high school graduation exam scores of 3 subjects in the admission combination + Total converted priority points.

2. Method of considering high school academic results according to the admission combination of 6 semesters:

Admission score = (Average score of 6 semesters subject 1 + Average score of 6 semesters subject 2 + Average score of 6 semesters subject 3) + Total converted priority points.

3. Method of admission based on V-SAT exam results in 2026:

Admission score = Total score of the V-SAT exam of 3 subjects in the admission combination + Total converted priority points.

4. Method of admission based on the results of the 2026 competency assessment exam of VNU-HCM:

Admission score = Total score of the ĐGNL exam + Total converted priority points.

Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology notes that candidates can look up admission results and see admission instructions on the website hutech.edu.vn from 8 am on August 11.

All admitted candidates need to confirm online admission on the Ministry of Education and Training's system before 5:00 PM on August 21. After this deadline, candidates are considered to have refused admission.
