In 2023, the standard score of the Information Officer School is 22.94 points for southern male candidates. Northern male candidates have a standard score of 22.8 points. For Northern candidates with the same score as above, the school requires Math to achieve 7.8 points or higher; or Physics subject of 7.5 points or higher; or Chemistry from 7.25 or higher.
Previously in 2022, the standard admission score for admission to the school according to the method of considering high school graduation exam scores was 20.95 points (for male candidates in the North). With a scale of 23.2 applied to male candidates in the North, sub-criterion 1 is Math score of 8.2 points or higher and sub-criterion 2 is Physics score of 7.5 points or more.
In 2024, the total enrollment target for the Information Officer School is 341 candidates. Of which, the North (from Quang Binh province outward) recruited 205 targets; The South (from Quang Tri province upwards) recruits 136 positions.
