The Admissions Council of the Military Medical Academy announces the minimum entry quality threshold for 2024 (cut-off score). The score is based on a 30-point scale and includes priority points.
Accordingly, the Military Medical major has the highest cut-off score; set at 22.5 points. The minimum entry quality threshold for the Military Pharmacy major is 21 points. Finally, the Preventive Medicine major has a cut-off score of 19 points.
In addition to the above-mentioned cut-off scores, candidates applying to the Military Medical Academy should note:
- Candidates must meet the pre-qualification standards (the Academy has sent the pre-qualification results notice).
- Candidates will only be considered for admission to the Academy if they register it as their first choice (highest priority).
In 2024, the Military Medical Academy will admit 385 candidates. Of these, the Medical major will admit 335 candidates, the Military Pharmacy major will admit 40, and the Preventive Medicine major will admit 10 candidates. The school uses two combinations B00 (Math, Chemistry, Biology) and A00 (Math, Physics, Chemistry) for admission.
For candidates applying based on high school exam results, the academy will apply a common score for both military personnel and civilians. Separate cut-off scores will be determined for male and female candidates; for candidates with permanent residence in the northern region (from Quang Binh northwards) and candidates with permanent residence in the southern region (from Quang Tri southwards); active-duty military personnel will have their admission scores determined based on their permanent residence.
In the first round of admissions, only candidates who register the academy as their first choice (highest priority) and meet the school's admission combinations will be considered.
