Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade (HUIT) announced that it will continue to receive applications for additional admission for 2 internationally linked programs and the seafood processing technology major, with a total of 80 targets.
The Chinese Language program in association with Ludong University (China) and the Business Administration program in association with Shinawatra University (Thailand) each program additionally recruits 30 targets. The Seafood Processing Technology major recruits 20 more targets and is entitled to a 50% tuition fee reduction for the first semester.
For the method of considering the results of the 2026 high school graduation exam, all 3 majors and programs above will accept applications from 16 points. Candidates can also register by high school academic results, the competency assessment exam of Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City or the specialized competency assessment exam of Ho Chi Minh City University of Education combined with high school academic results, according to the conditions of each method.

The school said that candidates registering for supplementary admission must have a minimum admission score equal to the benchmark score announced in the official enrollment period, including priority points, bonus points (if any). Applications are considered according to the principle from high to low until the quota is met and the school can stop receiving applications early if fully recruited.
Meanwhile, Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics (UEH) plans to recruit an additional 300 quotas at UEH Mekong (KSV admission code), training in Vinh Long.
Expected additional recruitment programs include Agricultural Business, Technology and Innovation, Robotics and Artificial Intelligence (engineering system) (with part-time English program), banking, marketing (with part-time English program), Management, International Business (with part-time English program), Taxation, Commercial English, Hotel Management, Economic Law.
The expected qualifying score for receiving applications is 60 points or higher on a 100-point scale. Application time is from August 22nd to 5pm on September 22nd, 2026.
