On August 27, the People's Committee of Ea Trang commune (Dak Lak province) said that it had received a letter of resignation from the management position of Mr. Le Dang Hung - Principal of Tran Quoc Toan Ethnic Minority Boarding Primary School.
Mr. Hung has 19 years of working in the field of education management at many schools and about 15 years of working before reaching retirement age.
According to Mr. Hung, the resignation from the management position is a completely voluntary wish, not stemming from health problems or personal difficulties.
What I am concerned about is how to ensure that the process of arranging and streamlining the apparatus takes place smoothly, and at the same time, localities have more proactiveness in arranging and consolidating the management staff at schools after the merger," Mr. Hung shared.
According to Mr. Hung, in any position, he will continue to promote his capacity and experience, coordinate with the leadership collective and officials and teachers to build a united and stable school, and gradually improve the quality of education after the merger.
In the near future, Tran Quoc Toan Ethnic Minority Boarding Primary School is expected to be merged with Phan Boi Chau Ethnic Minority Boarding Secondary School.
Mr. Hung's initiative to resign from his management position is considered to be aimed at creating favorable conditions for the locality in the process of arranging and consolidating the management staff, meeting the requirements of reorganizing educational institutions in the area.
According to the Department of Education and Training of Dak Lak province, the locality plans to reduce 646/1.267 public educational institutions, equivalent to about 51% of the number of focal points, before the 2026-2027 school year.
