On May 21, Hai Chau Ward People's Committee (Da Nang City) organized a collective painting program about nature and biodiversity with the theme "Local actions for global efficiency".

This is a program within a series of activities in response to International Biodiversity Day, taking place on 2 days, May 21 and 22.
The program was attended by more than 100 students and art teachers from elementary and secondary schools in the ward and accompanying units, with the desire to spread love for nature, raise awareness of environmental protection and local ecosystems.
Students will color the collective painting with a size of 2.5 meters x 10 meters, recreating the biodiversity beauty of Da Nang City and the Central region.
The images shown on the painting include the red-shanked douc langur - "the queen of primates" of Son Tra; ocean space and the sea ecosystem of Cu Lao Cham; rare birds in Song Dam; images of wild Asian elephants in Nong Son; messages of green living, environmental protection and action for nature...
The completed painting will be displayed at the 2026 Biodiversity Day and APEC Park to serve people and tourists.

Through painting activities, the Organizing Committee hopes that each student will become a "little angel" spreading the message of love for nature, living green and acting for the environment.
In addition to painting activities, a series of activities in response to Biodiversity Day also organized for students to visit Son Tra peninsula and admire red-shanked douc langurs.
Organize the "Rung chuong rung" contest for students to learn knowledge about biodiversity; exhibit 300 photos about biodiversity in localities in Da Nang city.
On this occasion, students also heard conservation experts share about biodiversity, the role of preserving biodiversity and the actions of each person in daily life to join hands in protecting nature.
