The information was announced by Mr. Tran The Cuong, Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training at the Conference summarizing the 2024-2025 school year, deploying tasks for the 2025-2026 school year and launching emulation to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution, National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), on the morning of August 20.
According to Mr. Tran The Cuong, there will be many activities in the capital to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2.
During those days, Hanoi is expected to welcome a large number of people from all over the provinces and international visitors; there are also forces participating in parades, parades, and motor vehicles moving in the area.
Therefore, on the morning of August 20, the Department reported to the leaders of the Hanoi People's Committee and was approved to allow some schools in the inner city to temporarily take a day off to ensure traffic conditions, helping parades, parades as well as traffic management to be smooth and safe.
According to Mr. Cuong, the Department is calculating for all public and private schools in the inner city area in the area to temporarily take a day off for 3 days, August 21, 24 and 27.
It is expected that this afternoon, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training will issue a document guiding schools on this, to join hands and take practical actions to celebrate the country's major events.
The Department has also directed schools in the inner city, especially those on the parade and march routes, to open their doors to serve toilets and free rest for everyone and tourists during the event.
Other schools in suburban areas can participate in concentrated activities at the school to witness this major event of the country together.
