According to the direction of the Provincial People's Committee, the 2026 High School Graduation Exam will take place from June 10 to 12 according to the schedule of the Ministry of Education and Training. The whole province is expected to have 43,666 registered candidates, including 41,791 12th grade students and 1,875 independent candidates. It is expected that Hung Yen will arrange 70 exam sites with 1,926 exam rooms to meet the needs of candidates in the area.
The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Education and Training to preside over and be fully responsible for the organization of the exam. The education sector is required to strictly implement the plan for teaching, reviewing, testing, and evaluating students according to the 2018 general education program; and at the same time prepare sufficient human resources, facilities, equipment and response plans for unusual situations to ensure the exam takes place smoothly.
In addition, the Department of Education and Training will strengthen training for the team participating in organizing the exam, promote communication, fully disseminate exam regulations to officials, teachers, students and parents, and promptly answer related questions.
The application of information technology and digital transformation in the exam organization stages is also continuing to be emphasized to ensure accuracy, safety, and efficiency.

One of the contents of particular concern is the work of preventing and combating exam fraud using high-tech equipment. The Provincial Police are assigned to develop a plan to absolutely ensure security and safety for the exam; proactively grasp the situation, detect and strictly handle violations of the law, especially the purchase and sale and use of high-tech equipment for fraud.
Along with that, the Department of Health will coordinate to implement disease prevention and control measures, ensure environmental sanitation, food safety and prepare sufficient human resources and medical supplies to serve students and teachers throughout the exam period. Hung Yen Power Company is responsible for ensuring stable electricity supply at exam sites.
People's Committees of communes and wards are required to closely coordinate in preparing facilities, ensuring security and order, traffic safety, and creating the most favorable conditions for candidates and parents.
