The Department of Education and Training (DET) and People's Committees of districts and cities direct educational institutions to implement teaching and learning 5 days/week, from Monday to Friday; Saturday and Sunday off for all levels.
The implementation of teaching and learning 5 days/week must ensure the conditions according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, completing the content and curriculum of general education 2018 according to the school year plan.
The Department of Education and Training provides specific instructions on implementing 5-day/week teaching and learning to ensure effective implementation of the content, program, and tasks of the school year.
Inspect and examine the implementation of teaching and learning 5 days/week; promptly report and propose to the Provincial People's Committee to promptly resolve difficulties, problems, and issues arising beyond its authority.
