On September 14, speaking with Lao Dong Newspaper reporter, Mr. Pham Giang Nam - Director of Dien Bien Department of Health said that to share the difficulties of Yen Bai province in general and Yen Bai health sector in particular, Dien Bien Department of Health has launched a campaign for the whole sector to join hands in support.
"In a very short time, the entire Dien Bien health sector has mobilized 3.5 tons of rice, 500kg of squash, and 50kg of vermicelli to support the people of Yen Bai province, focusing on supporting officials and employees of the Yen Bai health sector during the time of helping people overcome the consequences of natural disasters and prevent epidemics" - Mr. Pham Giang Nam said.
As the person who directly directed the establishment of a mobile medical station and the overcoming of natural disaster consequences in Muong Pon commune, Dien Bien district, Dien Bien province at the end of July, Mr. Pham Giang Nam said: "After the flash floods and landslides pass, there will be many serious consequences, especially in environmental sanitation, epidemic prevention, and protection of people's health."
Previously, responding to the call of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, cadres and employees of the Dien Bien health sector also joined hands to contribute a total of 500 million VND to support people affected by storm No. 3.
