On August 21, information from the People's Committee of Lao Cai province, the province has approved the investment policy for the Thuong Ha Primary School No. 1, Thuong Ha commune. The People's Committee of Thuong Ha commune is assigned to manage the project.
The project aims to complete facilities, ensuring sufficient classrooms for 14 classes at the central school site after arranging 2 satellite school sites.
The project also meets the needs of teaching, boarding activities and educational activities, while improving the quality of education, ensuring school safety and effective use of public assets.
According to the approved policy, the project will build a 3-story classroom building with an area of about 1,300m2, including 14 rooms.
Including 4 cultural classrooms and functional rooms such as Music, English, Fine Arts, Science, multi-functional, traditional, school counseling, health and archives.
In addition, the project to build a multi-purpose building with an area of about 465m2; dismantling a level IV building that has deteriorated according to the approved public asset handling plan.
Accompanying infrastructure items include fire prevention and fighting systems, negative embankments, yards, internal roads, fences, power supply, water supply, drainage systems and necessary technical, exterior and auxiliary items.
The project belongs to group C, with a total investment of 19.6 billion VND from the provincial budget, implemented in the period 2026-2028.
Thuong Ha Commune People's Committee is responsible for completing the dossier, receiving appraisal opinions and submitting them to competent authorities for investment decision according to regulations; ensuring progress, quality, efficiency and publicity and transparency in the implementation process.
The Department of Finance is assigned to review, advise on balancing, allocating capital and monitoring and inspecting the implementation of investment policies.
Relevant departments and agencies guide project preparation units to implement contents according to their functions, ensuring safety and complying with legal regulations.
