On July 11, the Nghe An Department of Education and Training said that the unit had reviewed and compared data and results of the 2026 high school graduation exam in the province.
The results showed that the score distribution of Nghe An's exam subjects was basically stable, suitable for the learning and review situation and exam results of candidates; no unusual fluctuations were recorded.
Nghe An Department of Education and Training affirmed that there were no errors or negative phenomena in all stages of organizing the exam, from exam supervision, transportation, preservation of exam papers and exam papers to grading, score entry, comparison and announcement of results.
The 2026 high school graduation exam in Nghe An has 42,037 registered candidates, of which 2,230 are independent candidates. The whole province arranges 71 exam sites with about 1,820 exam rooms. More than 6,500 people are mobilized to participate in serving the exam, including invigilators, police, security, medical and service staff.
According to the report of the Examination Council of Nghe An Department of Education and Training, Literature subject had 41,629 registered candidates, of which 91 candidates were absent without reason. Mathematics subject had 41,533 registered candidates, 85 absent candidates.
In the elective subject exam sessions, the whole province had 41,532 registered candidates, of which 101 candidates were absent without reason. The number of registered candidates in each exam session varies depending on the subject and the purpose of using the results of each group of candidates.
Throughout the exam, Nghe An did not have any candidates or exam officials being disciplined for violating regulations; no unusual incidents occurred. The exam sessions were organized safely, seriously and in accordance with regulations.
