On July 11, information from the People's Council of Nghe An province said that state management of land, especially the issuance of land use right certificates, will be one of the key contents to be questioned at the regular meeting in mid-2026.
The 4th session of the 19th Nghe An Provincial People's Council, term 2026-2031, is expected to take place on July 13 and 14 at the Thanh Vinh Ward Conference Center.
According to the program, on the morning of July 14, the Nghe An Provincial People's Council will organize a question-and-answer session for 2 groups of issues. The entire working session will be broadcast live.
The first group of issues is state management of land, focusing on the issuance of land use right certificates and state management of minerals.
At the question-and-answer session, delegates of the Provincial People's Council will request to clarify the current situation, shortcomings, limitations, causes and responsibilities of relevant agencies and units; and at the same time propose solutions to overcome them in the coming time.
The Director of Nghe An Department of Agriculture and Environment is the person directly answering questions. Leaders of the Provincial People's Committee and representatives of departments, branches and related localities will participate in explaining issues under their authority and management responsibility.
The second group of issues being questioned is the work of preparing, appraising and approving general construction plans for communes and wards in Nghe An province. The Director of the Department of Construction will directly answer questions, with the participation and explanation of leaders of the Provincial People's Committee and related units.
In addition to questioning activities, the session will consider reports on socio-economic situation, public investment, budget revenue and expenditure, administrative reform, anti-corruption, complaint and denunciation resolution and activities of judicial agencies.
The People's Council of Nghe An province is also expected to consider and approve 24 resolutions, including resolutions related to the list of projects that must recover land, land areas for bidding to select investors and policies to support access to land, production and business premises in industrial parks.
