Particularly in Nha Trang city, most primary schools have boarding organizations that have not yet implemented them; There is an implementation unit that signs a contract with an enterprise without direction from the Provincial People's Committee.

From the above basis, the Department of Education and Training requested Nha Trang City to direct primary schools with boarding organizations to implement the direction of the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province. Up to now, the Department of Education and Training of Nha Trang City has directed and guided schools that have not yet implemented the transformation of the boarding management model in the direction of selecting and cooperating with units with legal status to ensure transparency. , in accordance with regulations and parental consent.

For schools that have transformed the boarding management model, it is necessary to review the signed cooperation content; Schools that are building kitchens will coordinate with the health sector to organize reviews and inspections.

Why do school principals have such thoughts?

The reason some principals in Nha Trang are not interested in cooperating with outside businesses in boarding cooking is because this model is too new while some schools have maintained cooking activities with partners. stable.

Many principals believe that the boarding school cooking model they are implementing is safe and suitable for the local reality. In the immediate future, they need time to change and reorganize boarding school cooking.

In the long term, schools support the policy of unifying focal points in cooking boarding for students. However, they believe that this policy needs a comprehensive assessment of feasibility and a roadmap for conversion.

“I think the directive from above aims to improve the quality of meals for students, ensure food safety and hygiene, and reduce pressure on teachers. However, the implementation needs time for schools to see the benefits and voluntarily cooperate. It should not be imposed,” said the principal of a primary school in Nha Trang.

Responding to the principal's concerns, leaders of Nha Trang City People's Committee affirmed that the implementation of the boarding management model is carried out in accordance with regulations, based on the instructions of the Department of Education and Training and the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province.
