The 10th grade high school entrance exam for the 2026-2027 school year in Khanh Hoa will take place on May 28 and 29.
In addition to preparing knowledge, candidates need to clearly understand the regulations of the exam to avoid unfortunate errors affecting the exam results.
According to the guidance of the Khanh Hoa Department of Education and Training, candidates must be present at the exam location on the correct day and time and present their exam cards before entering the exam room.
Notably, candidates who arrive more than 15 minutes late from the time of calculation of the exam time will not be allowed to participate in the exam session.
In the exam room, candidates must sit in the correct position according to the registration number, sign the exam list for each session and follow the instructions of the invigilator.
Regarding items allowed to be brought into the exam room, candidates are allowed to bring: pens, rulers, pencils, erasers, êke, drawing tools and handheld calculators without text editing function or memory cards.
Specifically for Chemistry, candidates are allowed to bring periodic tables of chemical elements and solubility tables but are not allowed to mark or add content to documents.
For the specialized Math subject, candidates are not allowed to bring calculators into the exam room.
Candidates are also advised on common mistakes such as: Being late, writing the wrong registration number, bringing a phone into the exam room, exchanging papers, coloring the wrong exam code, forgetting to sign exam papers
In addition, it should be noted that when receiving exam papers, candidates must carefully check the number of pages, the quality of the exam papers and immediately notify the invigilator if they detect that the exam papers are missing pages, torn, blurred or blurred. If they leave it for more than 10 minutes from the time the exam papers are distributed to report, candidates must take responsibility themselves.
During the exam period, candidates are not allowed to exchange, cheat, cause disorder or have fraudulent acts in any form. The exam paper must use the same type of ink, not red ink and not marked separately on the paper.
For Informatics, after the test time is over, candidates must compress all test data into .zip or .rar format files according to the supervisor's instructions before completing the test submission procedure.
Violation handling regulations are also strictly applied. Cases of looking at papers or exchanging papers for the first time may be reprimanded and deduct 25% of the total exam score. If violations continue, the penalty level may be raised to a warning, deduction of points or suspension from the exam.
Serious acts such as: bringing illegal items into the exam room, taking exam questions out, receiving answers from outside, taking exams for others or causing trouble in the exam area may be given a score of 0, the entire exam result may be cancelled, or transferred to functional agencies for handling according to regulations.
