On July 3, the Vietnam Women's Academy held a closing ceremony and awarded diplomas to 718 students who graduated in the 3rd phase of 2026.
In which, Hoang Phuong Anh - a student majoring in Psychology - excellently became the valedictorian of the academy.

The female student shared that before registering for university admission, her family as well as those around her advised her not to pursue this major.
People think that Psychology has few job opportunities, so almost no one supports me. However, I persuaded my father to let me study and proved my journey with the title of valedictorian" - Phuong Anh shared.
In addition to her impressive academic achievements, the female student also participated in scientific research activities and won the first prize at the academy level with the topic "Level of imagination and creativity of older children 5-6 years old in drawing activities".
With a passion for research and concern for children, Phuong Anh started participating in autism spectrum intervention centers from year 3. The process of working at centers helps female students be more confident in their choices.
My happiness is seeing my little friends improve every day, from encountering difficulties in communication, they have been able to interact with teachers. For everyone, that change may be very small, but for them, it is a journey of effort" - the female student confided.
Phuong Anh said that in order to pursue the field of Psychology, students need to be persistent, patient and respect each person's own world.
Students who need intervention also have their own worlds that I sometimes have to pay close attention to understand. When working in the field of Psychology, everyone needs to accept the problems children encounter, not to judge or discriminate against them. That is the professional ethics that we need to remember" - the female student shared.
In the near future, Phuong Anh plans to study for a master's degree to continue pursuing her research path. The female student will also maintain teaching activities at child intervention centers as she initially wished when choosing a major.
Giving advice to students, Phuong Anh borrowed the saying of psychologist Carl Jung: "I am not what happens to me, I am what I choose to become".
“You guys just pursue and live with passion and believe in your own choices. Because only when you believe in your choices can others believe in you” - the female student said.
Sharing about the graduation ceremony, Phuong Anh said that this is not only a milestone closing the student journey but also an opportunity for new graduates to continue pursuing a new journey, contributing youth and knowledge to society.
