Launching a competition for students to design AI solutions for business administration

Students across the country can compete in designing AI solutions in business administration at the MIS Talent 2026 competition (Season 2).

On the evening of May 21, the Announcement Ceremony of the MIS Talent 2026 competition with the theme "AI Agent Design - Optimizing Business Operations" took place in Hanoi.

This is an academic competition organized by the Faculty of Management Information Systems, University of Technology, National Economics University, to create an academic playground for students nationwide who are passionate about the field of information systems, technology and business.

Dr. Nguyen Thi Bach Tuyet - Head of the Faculty of Management Information Systems - shared that, with the theme "AI Agent Design - Optimizing Business Operations", this year's competition aims to exploit the power of Generative AI to solve practical problems in businesses.

At the same time, this is also an opportunity for students nationwide to connect with businesses, improve professional capacity, develop innovative thinking and expand the career network in the digital age.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Nguyen Minh Ngoc - Deputy Director of the Department of Information Technology and Digital Transformation, Ministry of Finance said that in the context of Vietnam and the world entering a strong digital transformation phase, artificial intelligence and big data have become strategic factors, playing a foundational role for the development of countries.

If oil was previously considered a resource that created economic breakthroughs, now data is considered a new resource, capable of creating a competitive advantage and promoting sustainable growth in the future" - Mr. Ngoc emphasized and said that the contest shows the proactiveness of schools in grasping the development trends of the times, while creating a practical and meaningful academic playground for students.

He expressed his belief that the values and results from the contest will not only stop at the scope of a department or a school, but will also make positive contributions to training, research and technology application activities in Vietnam in the coming time.

The final round of the MIS Talent 2026: "E-Mastery" is scheduled to take place on August 5, 2026.

The prize structure includes: 1 champion prize, 1 runner-up prize, 2 quarter-final prizes and 2 promising prizes.
