On the afternoon of July 11, the Quang Tri Department of Education and Training (GDĐT) said that the Provincial People's Committee has requested urgent inspection and review of the organization and results of the 2026 High School Graduation Exam in the area after information reflecting signs of negativity at the Le Truc High School exam site appeared.
According to the direction of the Provincial People's Committee, the Department of Education and Training must comprehensively inspect the exam organization process and exam results at the Le Truc High School exam site (Tuyen Hoa commune), in order to detect any unusual signs or fraudulent or negative acts if any. The review results must be summarized and reported to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and handling.
In addition, the Department of Education and Training is assigned to preside over and coordinate with relevant units to review the results of the 2026 High School Graduation Exam throughout the province to promptly detect abnormal signs and have handling measures according to regulations.
The Provincial People's Committee also assigned the Provincial Police to take the lead in coordinating with the Department of Education and Training and relevant agencies to objectively and comprehensively verify the reflected content; clarify the nature of the case, the responsibilities of relevant organizations and individuals and strictly handle violations if detected.
Relevant localities are required to closely coordinate with the education sector and the police force in the process of inspection and verification.
Previously, Lao Dong Newspaper reported the appearance of information suspecting negativity at the Le Truc High School exam site. Immediately after that, the Quang Tri Department of Education and Training reported to the Provincial People's Committee, and at the same time held an emergency meeting, established a working group to coordinate with the Provincial Police and functional agencies to verify and clarify the case.
