The program is organized by the Department of Higher Education (Ministry of Education and Training), Tuoi Tre Newspaper in coordination with the Department of Education and Training of Nghe An, Nghe An Provincial Youth Union and Vinh University, with the support of Vingroup Corporation.
This is the 23rd year of the program and the 10th time it has taken place in Nghe An. This is also an important educational event that attracts a large number of high school students, parents, and educational institutions to attend and learn information.
According to the Ministry of Education and Training, 2025 is the first year that students will take the high school graduation exam according to the 2018 general education program with many changes in exam content, leading to certain changes in the university and college admission process.

New information related to exams and admissions is being followed and paid attention to by parents and 12th grade students across the country. Therefore, the admissions and career counseling program aims to help parents and students access official, accurate and complete information, thereby considering and making appropriate choices.
"Teachers and experts from state management agencies and prestigious training institutions participating in the program directly answer questions and concerns about choosing a major and career that suits their abilities and family's economic conditions, helping students make better study choices that are suitable for future job trends.
At the same time, when students receive professional career counseling and guidance, it will also help to gradually reduce the rate of students dropping out of school halfway or transferring schools due to studying the wrong major or school, avoiding wasting time and money for families and society" - Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thu Thuy, Director of the Department of Higher Education (Ministry of Education and Training) said.

Attending the admissions and career counseling program, in addition to asking questions to the counseling board, parents and students also have the opportunity to learn information from training institutions at more than 70 counseling booths within the program.
Here, students will meet and talk directly with representatives of the schools they are interested in, learn about study conditions, scholarships, tuition fees, and dormitories. Students can also find information about studying abroad and international joint training programs at domestic and foreign schools at these consulting booths.
