Nguyen Sieu Secondary and High School has opened enrollment with a target of 210 students for the 2025-2026 school year, including Cambridge international bilingual classes and Math and Academic English enhancement classes.
The target students are grade 5 students in the 2024-2025 school year. Priority will be given to students with a Cambridge KET English certificate of 140 points or higher and students who only register one wish to attend Nguyen Sieu School.
The school's admission method combines admission and entrance exams. The admission process will be based on family wishes, the school's educational goals, primary school academic performance, student health, and a psychological test.
The assessment includes Cambridge English proficiency tests, a General Ability Test in English and a Vietnamese test. The tests are administered in the form of computer-based tests, paper-based tests and face-to-face interviews.
Nguyen Sieu School has opened its online registration system since November 6, 2024, and is expected to organize the test and assessment in the first week of January 2025.
Newton Secondary School has announced that the requirement for admission to Grade 6 for the 2025-2026 school year is to pass the school interview. The school will also hold a scholarship exam with a maximum value of up to 100% of tuition fees, including Math and English, on Saturday, December 7, 2024. Parents can apply by November 25, and results will be announced by December 21, 2024.
Hanoi Star School has also announced the enrollment plan for 6 grade 6 classes, each class is expected to have 34 students. The school applies two forms of enrollment: direct enrollment and enrollment through capacity assessment.
For direct admission, the school will give priority to students who have won gold medals, international cups or first prizes at the city or national level in Math, Science, English, Arts, and Sports, with achievements recorded in three years of grades 3, 4, and 5. The direct admission application includes a certificate of achievement and a personal essay.
Applications for direct admission will be accepted from October 22, 2024 to January 31, 2025, while interviews for direct admission will take place from December 2024 to February 2025. For admission through competency assessment, the exam will take place on February 23, 2025, with priority given to students currently studying at the school to add 1 point/subject.
Archimedes School plans to enroll 700 students in grade 6 for the 2025-2026 school year, with a target of 360 students at Cau Giay campus and 340 students at Dong Anh campus.
Students will take a two-part test: the Conditional Test and the Advanced Test. The Conditional Test tests knowledge of Math, Vietnamese, and English with multiple-choice and essay questions, with a total score of 100.
Math lasts 75 minutes with multiple choice questions and two essays; Vietnamese lasts 60 minutes with multiple choice questions and a topic paragraph; English lasts 60 minutes with multiple choice questions and a short essay.
The advanced test consists of Math and English with a total score of 20. Math lasts 90 minutes with 5 essays; English consists of multiple choice and writing, also lasting 90 minutes.
