The Department of Education and Training (GDDT) of Ho Chi Minh City has just issued a plan to review data on students of enrollment age to prepare for the initial enrollment work of the 2026-2027 school year, ensuring data, creating maximum convenience for parents when registering for online enrollment.
The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training said that all student data in preschool, primary and secondary school enrollment age groups must be fully updated on the education sector database at https://csdl.hcm.edu.vn.
Data review subjects include: children studying in leaf classes at preschool education institutions; 5th grade students at primary schools; children 6 years old preparing to enter 1st grade but not yet in kindergarten; 5th grade students studying at continuing education institutions with current residences in Ho Chi Minh City.
For children studying in leaf classes and grade 5 students at general education schools, educational institutions are responsible for fully updating data, verifying identification codes, synchronizing data to the primary enrollment system and providing accounts for parents to check information.
Parents must log in to the City's first-grade enrollment information page at https://tuyensinhdaucap.hcm.edu.vn to review and confirm information. In case adjustments are needed, parents must attach proof such as birth certificate, current residence information on VNeID.
For preschool children and 5th grade students in continuing education institutions, the People's Committees of wards, communes, and special zones shall coordinate with the police force at the same level to review and verify current residence information, update the list on the system and notify parents for inspection and confirmation.
According to the plan, from January 14, 2026, the Department of Education and Training will organize online training for localities on the data review process. From January 15 to February 2, 2026, educational institutions will update, authenticate and synchronize end-of-grade student data.
From February 3rd to March 3rd, 2026, parents will review and confirm information on the first-grade enrollment page. By the beginning of March 2026, the Department of Education and Training will summarize the list of children expected to enter grade 1 and students preparing to enter grade 6, as a basis for building the first-grade enrollment plan to submit to the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee for approval.
The Department of Education and Training noted that if parents do not review or confirm information within the prescribed time limit, the system will default that parents have approved all existing information and use it as an official basis in enrollment. Requests to adjust current residence information after the deadline will not be resolved, except in special cases.
