On the afternoon of July 7, the University of Science - Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM) announced the floor score with method 2 (general admission) based on the results of the 2026 high school graduation exam or based on the 2026 competency assessment exam with 3 years of high school transcripts.
The admission score calculation formula is as follows:
In case candidates register for Microchip Design and Semiconductor Technology majors, they need to have a Math exam score belonging to the group of 20% and a total combined score of 3 subjects belonging to the highest threshold of 25% nationwide.
If considering for the Nuclear Engineering major, candidates must have a high school graduation exam score in Mathematics or Physics from 7.5 or higher. In case of considering based on competency assessment exam scores, the Math part score is from 225/300 or higher.
