In 2026, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities is expected to enroll nearly 4,400 students using two methods: Direct admission and general admission.
In which, the combined admission method uses the criteria: results of the 2026 high school graduation exam (THPT); results of the 2026 National University of Ho Chi Minh City competency assessment exam (ĐGNL); academic results of 3 years of high school (HB); achievements in study, social activities, culture, physical education, sports, arts; international foreign language certificates.
Admission scores according to the formula:
Admission score = w1THPT + w2ĐGNL + w3HB + bonus points + priority points
w1, w2, w3 are the weight of high school graduation exam scores, competency assessment, and transcripts.
For candidates with only high school score + HB: Academic score = 90% high school + 10% HB.
Candidates only get GPA + HB: Academic score = 90% GPA + 10% HB.
Note, if the candidate has enough 3 score components, take the highest score value of the admission score.
The converted score to the 100-point scale of each score component applies according to the formula:
High school = (High school graduation exam score according to admission combination) x 100/30
GNL = (GNL exam score) x 100/1200
HB = (3-year HB average score according to admission combination) x 100/30
The total bonus points and bonus points (GPA) do not exceed 10% of the maximum score of the admission score according to the enrollment regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
The school applies points added to three groups of candidates: belonging to 149 high schools prioritized for admission by Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (maximum 3 points); national and provincial excellent students (maximum 4 points); international foreign language certificates and cultural and artistic achievements (maximum 3 points).
