On August 22, Hanoi Capital University announced the full-time university admission scores in 2025.
However, after that, the school continued to announce that the admission score based on the C00 combination from the high school exam score increased by 0.75 compared to the original.
This information surprised and shocked many candidates using the C00 combination results of the high school graduation exam because they felt unfair and the school was not professional.
Regarding this information, Hanoi Capital University on August 24 said that, in accordance with the university admission regulations and university admission instructions for 2025 of the Ministry of Education and Training, on July 23, 2025, the school publicly announced (Notes No. 1167/TB-DHTDHN) to determine the difference in scores between the C00 group and other admission groups for the method of using high school exam scores for admission to majors. Accordingly, other groups of group C00 are added 0.75 points on a 30-point scale.
The school reaffirmed that the information about the deviation of the C00 complex has been made public by the school clearly and transparently, in accordance with regulations and on time.
The school also said that after the results of 10 wish processing (virtual caches) of the Ministry of Education and Training and 10 virtual filter caches of the Northern School Group, the School's full-time University Admissions Council met and decided on the admission scores for the majors. At the same time, to help candidates easily look up information, especially for candidates using the C00 combination according to the high school exam score method for admission, the Admissions Council decided to announce the admission score into 02 separate N half-Notes, in accordance with the instructions and regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
The data on processing wishes and determining the admission results of candidates is conducted on the general system of the Ministry of Education and Training, which is consistent, correct and unchangeable. Based on this result, the school announced the admission score according to regulations.
"The determination of announcing the admission score in 2 announcements with the initial purpose is clear, transparent and creates favorable conditions for candidates to look up information; however, the technique of issuing documents is not seamless, causing misunderstanding for candidates and parents, thereby creating negative public opinion. The school has severely criticized the individuals in charge and seriously learned from experience to better implement the work of enrollment, communication, and enrollment consultation" - the school affirmed.
In 2025, Hanoi Capital University will use 4 admission methods: admission based on international foreign language proficiency certificates; admission based on high school 12th grade learning results ( tuneu); admission based on high school graduation exam results; admission based on competency assessment test results organized by Hanoi National University of Education in 2025 for admission.
